Petbarn's legacy Inventory Management (MIM) application struggled to support the demands of a rapidly growing retail network. Inventory visibility across stores was limited, stock counting and transfers were largely manual, and replenishment decisions were delayed due to fragmented workflows. Store associates relied on disconnected systems for receiving, promotions, audits, and inventory tracking, resulting in stock discrepancies and operational inefficiencies. Petbarn required a modern, scalable inventory platform that could unify inventory operations, provide real-time stock visibility, and deliver a seamless experience across Web, Mobile, and handheld PDA devices.
